X-Port
2013, Oil on canvas,
mounted on a wooden stretcher frame —
100 x 80 cm / 39.4 x 31.5 in.
As I painted X-Port, I felt a sense of déjà vu, as if I had been here before—alive or not, conscious or not. The work connects deeply to a specific place and moment, evoking a profound feeling of belonging. The central structure seems to reveal and intensify layers of emotion, making the memory of that instant vivid and unforgettable. I remember the urge to touch the canvas, to feel its energy and shape it myself. The memory remains as clear as if it happened yesterday.
