Abandoned Harbor
Abandoned Harbor 2014 Oil on canvas, mounted on a wooden stretcher frame — 90 × 70 cm / 35.4 × 27.6 in Inspired by Israel’s Dead Sea, *Abandoned Harbor* reflects coastal factories once sustained by salt extraction and now deserted. Silent yet striking, the empty structures seem to possess an afterlife. I used layered oil colors to create a mystical transparency where form and color merge. The painting captures the desolation and quiet allure of a place transformed by time and abandonment.
