Soul Cage (SOLD)
2017, Oil on canvas,
mounted on a wooden stretcher frame —
100 x 70 cm / 39.4 x 27.6 in.

Soul Cage is a meditation on the human condition, a portal into deeper reflection and forgotten parts of the self. For me, it became a ritual — dreaming about time, existence, and the questions that define what it means to be human. I built the painting layer by layer, each one containing windows that open into fragments of texture and memory, forming a collage of shifting meanings. In the end, the work feels like reaching toward something just beyond grasp — elusive yet enriching, a reminder of how much lies hidden within the soul.
