Something to Remember

Oil on canvas,
mounted on a wooden stretcher frame —

Something To Remember began as a sketch and developed through layered color into a dreamlike, archaic scene. Drawing on childhood fairytale figures without following a traditional tale, the work creates a narrative, evoking a fragment of myth beyond reach.
This painting developed from an earlier sketch of the same title, where the first movement, structure, and atmosphere of the idea began to appear.
