Something to Remember
Something to Remember 2020 Oil on canvas, mounted on a wooden stretcher frame — 99.3 x 71.3 cm / 40 x 28 in Something To Remember began as a simple sketch and grew into a canvas alive with rich, layered color. As I painted, a dreamlike, archaic scene emerged — surreal yet symbolic, carrying the weight of timelessness. Though not tied to any traditional tale, the work draws from the fairytale figures etched into my childhood memory, reshaped into a narrative of its own. It became less about telling a story and more about evoking the feeling of one — a fragment of myth that lingers just beyond reach.
