The Sea and The Sunshine
2022, Oil on canvas,
mounted on a wooden stretcher frame —
100 x 80 cm / 39.4 x 31.5 in.

This painting captures the emotions I feel by the sea—peace, mystery, and connection. Inspired by real moments and sketches, it blends surreal and abstract forms to express meaning. The patterned figures suggest our shared shapes and inner lives. They seem to communicate silently with the ocean, hinting at a deeper intelligence. I’m drawn to the idea of Intelligent Water—a conscious force linking us all. Like the ocean in Solaris (a novel by Stanisław Lem), water here is more than nature—it’s mind, able to reflect and shape reality. This work imagines us within its thought.
