This painting is based on a vivid memory—an unexpected moment of clarity while riding the waves. As the sun vanished behind the clouds, time felt suspended. The figures around me appeared transformed, towering and godlike in the shifting light. Back in the studio, I sketched from memory, aiming to capture the surreal stillness of that moment. The final piece is minimalist yet emotionally resonant, reflecting a brief, powerful insight shaped by light, shadow, and perception.
