The Crow and The Girl

This painting is part of a beach-inspired series. I was fascinated by how crows interact with people, often sneaking around waiting for a snack. While sketching two girls, I noticed a crow nearby. Later, the hair of one girl looked like a bird’s silhouette in my sketch. That moment sparked this piece. I reimagined the crow as a sentient, part-human figure engaged in a quiet exchange with the girl. Surreal elements give it a dreamlike feel, merging nature and humanity in a symbolic space.
