Strange ideas often take me to unfamiliar realms. In this work, the coral reef became the foundation for an imagined civilization — one that grows in harmony with its surroundings, where biology, architecture, and technology weave into a single living system. I didn’t want to replicate nature, but to extend it, to dream of a future built on integration rather than control. The reef transformed into a sentient city, a network where memory, emotion, and environment are inseparable. Part dream, part myth, it suggests something recognizably human, yet entirely other.
