Sygnus Alpha 2026 Oil on canvas, mounted on a wooden stretcher frame — 100 × 80 cm / 39.4 × 31.5 in Sygnus Alpha feels like a message arriving from beyond Earth. Soft shapes glow against darkness, structural yet dreamlike, recalling the wonder of childhood science fiction. Lines resemble signals, while forms become thoughts. The title loosely echoes Alpha Cygni, reimagining it as a distant place beyond Earth. This painting developed from an earlier sketch of the same title, where the first movement, structure, and atmosphere of the idea began to appear. View the related sketch
